Walking back into painful memories and/or feelings is counter-intuitive to most people. I would like to suggest that returning to face those issues is probably one of the most courageous things an individual can do, this side of Heaven.  But we were not meant to do that alone. God designed us to be in community-both to celebrate and to mourn.
