Insurance company carriers, plans, coverage, and provider
contracts are so varied in regards to mental health benefits that there is no way of guaranteeing that your insurance
plan will cover my services for your diagnosis* and counseling. As
I am newly licensed in WA State, your insurance company may not yet recognize me as an eligible provider, I am currently in the process of contacting insurance companies
to become a recognized provider. Because this process takes a while to complete, I
strongly advise each client to call their insurance company and inquire about what coverage may apply before entering
into therapy. If I am not yet recognized by your insurance company, I expect payment
at the time services are rendered and will provide you with a receipt for reimbursement.
*Many
Insurance companies require a formal diagnosis code to determine the eligibility of payments and/or reimbursements. I
will be providing a diagnosis code for each session to facilitate in this process.
